Intelligence War Fighting is a new course of study and understanding for all branches of the US Military. It transforms how intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance(ISR) efforts are integrated into war fighting operations.

 
 
 
The US marine Intelligen War Fighting is a compilation of the best current practices, underlying theories, and evolving concepts in modern war fighting. It describes the six pillars that constitute what we believe constitutes sound war fighting. It encompasses our collective ideas about how the US Marine Corps can leverage the information age.

Micro, macro. Space, air, sea and ground. Strategic manuever warfare. Operational maneuver warfare. The art of war is much more than a simple game of chess pieces moving against each other. It is the ability to predict your enemy's next move in order to take him out before he even achieves his ultimate goal.
 
The US marine Intelligence War Fighting Division specializes in countering this type of threat by implementing strategies based upon scenario-based intelligence analysis using data from the global information grid to see what the enemy really wants and how they might get it.

The Marine Intelligen System (MIS) Architecture is the foundation on which the US Marine Corps Intelligence program is founded. It provides Marines with the ability to deliver timely and relevant, integrated intelligence-derived decision support to war fighting command, enabling Marines to win battles by making better decisions earlier in the fight.

Marines understand what is at stake in the war against terror. They also know that rules of engagement make it difficult to differentiate enemy forces from civilians. That's why they developed the Marine Intelligent Warfighting Experiment, a project to develop marine-deployed intelligence systems designed to pinpoint targets and discriminate between good guys and bad guys.
